Adorable handmade Tartan Timber Gonk Birch has a character all of his own. These Gonks have been inspired by the desire to recycle and reuse materials as much as possible and have therefore been made with reclaimed recycled timber. 

These Gonks made from recycled wood are not only charming, but also contribute to a more sustainable future by repurposing and recycling waste materials and would make the perfect gift for friends and relatives, indeed anyone who loves gonks and gnomes.

According to folklore Gonks favour colder weather and like to cosy up in houses and are meant to bring good luck and protection for their owner's home. They are a perfect addition at a living room, bedroom or any area in the house, adding both interest and decoration and can be displayed on a shelf, windowsill, or tabletop.

Handmade in Scotland, the main body is made from recycled wood covered with a felt, finished with a bushy beard, wooden nose and tartan hat, with fur trim. The Gonks, are approximately 22 cm tall and a width of 8 cm. The wood used is recycled and not any named species.
