Alpin Runevale has spent more years than he can count tracing the ancient markings left on Highland rocks, the ones most people walk past without a second glance. A Runecarver of the Hidden Path, he carries his knowledge in the gold glitter stars scattered across his deep purple hat, each one marking a site, a symbol, a story told in stone. The purple tassel at his tip swings when he moves, which is slowly, deliberately, in the manner of someone who has learned that the most important things are never in a hurry. He has the stillness of granite and the patience of something that has been waiting since long before you arrived.

He is not a wizard of fire and thunder. He is the kind who sits very still in a very old place and listens until the place starts talking back.

The Story Behind Alpin Runevale

Alpin is hand-crafted with care, each one made individually so no two are ever quite the same. That uniqueness is part of his magic, he arrives already his own person, already carrying a little of the story he was made with.

He walks the Hidden Path, the oldest of the Northern Nome trails, winding through ancient woodland and forgotten glens where the veil between the everyday world and something older grows thin. The Hidden Path Folk do not seek attention. They are the watchers, the weavers, the quiet keepers of things most people have stopped believing in. To have one is to invite a little of that old magic home.
