Born of sea mist and northern stone, the Fjordwood Folk carry the spirit of the old Norse world wherever they go.
The Fjordwood Folk are shaped by the places where Scotland's rugged coastline meets the memory of the Norse winds that once crossed it. Bold, characterful and full of Viking spirit, each one is built on a reclaimed timber base, covered in felt and finished with their own distinctive pointed hat, Viking horns and faux fur beard, giving them the unmistakable look of a Nome who has sailed a long way and has the stories to prove it.
As each one is individually handmade, no two Fjordwood Folk will ever be exactly alike. The little variations in beard, hat and finish are part of what makes every character their own.
Erik Stormrune is the sort of Nome who arrives just ahead of the weather. Nobody is quite sure how he always knows a storm is coming, but he does — and he always looks rather pleased about it.
