Gordon Oakbank has lived beside the same great oak for longer than anyone can remember, and he has no intention of moving on.
He knows every root, every hollow, and every creature that has ever sheltered beneath its branches. He is the kind of Nome who notices things, the way the light shifts through the canopy in late afternoon, the first signs of autumn in the turning of a leaf, the particular silence that falls just before rain. He is unhurried, observant, and deeply content.
Gordon carries the quiet wisdom of the ancient oak, steady, grounded, and always exactly where he is supposed to be.
The Story Behind Gordon
Gordon Oakbank belongs to the Deepwood Folk, wanderers of the oldest and most ancient parts of the forest, where the canopy closes overhead and the world outside feels very far away. They are part of the Wander Path within the Wee Folk realm, drawn ever deeper into the woodland, always curious, always moving, and always finding something worth pausing for. Where the roots run deep and the moss grows thick, the Deepwood Folk are never far away.
