Where dusk falls, Morag has already been.

Morag Duskveil walks the edge of things, the moment between day and dark, the treeline where the light gives up, the breath before silence. She is the Veilkeeper of the Darkwood, and she dresses for the role: her dark shimmer hat catches the last warmth of the day in its scattered gold gems, a peacock feather eye at its brim watching everything and missing nothing. The gold jewelled band at its base marks the boundary she keeps, the line between the world you can see and the one you cannot. Her long wispy hair trails like the last light leaving a winter sky.

She does not invite you in. But if you find her, she may let you stand at the threshold a while.

The Story Behind Morag Duskveil

Morag is hand-crafted with care, each one made individually so no two are ever quite the same. That darkness is entirely her own, she arrives already ancient, already knowing things she has no intention of explaining.

She walks the Darkwood, the deepest part of the Hidden Path, where the trees grow close and the light arrives late and leaves early. The Darkwood Folk are not the watchers at the edge of the forest. They are the ones at the centre of it, in the oldest dark, where the roots go deepest and the old magic has never left.
