Nicolas – Festive Folk | Northern Nomes

Someone has to keep this operation running. It might as well be Nicolas.

Nicolas has been Senior Elf for longer than he cares to remember, and in that time he has developed a very particular energy, the kind that fills a room when Jingle has jingled something he shouldn't, or Tinsel has vanished again with the good ribbon. He does not say anything. He does not need to. The silence does it for him.

He is organised, dependable, and quietly magnificent. The whole operation runs because of Nicolas. He knows this. He has never once mentioned it.

The Story Behind Nicolas

Nicolas is hand-crafted with care, each one made individually so no two are ever quite the same. That air of patient, slightly weary authority is entirely his own, he arrives already holding a clipboard, already aware of at least four things that are about to go wrong.

He belongs to the Festive Folk, the Northern Nomes of the Hearth Path, who appear when the nights grow long and the fire burns low, keeping the magic on schedule, on budget, and broadly on track.
